Columbus Day

My son is home sick, and wanted chicken soup. OK, but we don't have any, you know, actual chicken in the house, so I had to make a trip to the store. When I got there, there was a tractor-trailer van
from the Columbus Salame company set up in front of the entrance, with pop-up windows and speakers blasting Sinatra to the parking lot.

Now, I actually like Columbus Salame but what I DON'T like is the tout that comes along with the truck "Hey Buddy, come over, try some salame, here have a slice, don't be afraid, it's free, come on, just try a little..."

Furrfu.
